Faith is baptised!!!
Daddy and I have finally fulfilled our promise to present Faith to the Lord. Faith has been baptised today and we will do all that we can to raise Faith up to be a woman of God.

The Church of St Bernadette was all dressed up on this 8th day of the Chinese New Year of the Dog, and of course, for the baptism of Faith and two other Philipino babies, Gabriel and Angela.

The first rite of the baptism is the Rite of Acceptance to become a Christian. We've just arrived outside the church, waiting for the Rite of Acceptance to commence.

Fr Eugene Chong signing the Cross on Faith's forehead as the sign of acceptance and blessing.

After the Rite of Acceptance, we process down the aisle again -- this time for Faith's baptism (the last time was for our marriage!).

It is our greatest wish that she grows up to be a woman who is not afraid to love and to be loved by all. Whether she excels academically is not as much of a concern to us as long as she enjoys learning and appreciating with love all things created by God...
